Grad Employee Wisdom Teeth 101
Ameritas Coverage for
Oral surgery is covered under our Ameritas dental plan at 80%. Please review the complete plan description before scheduling an appointment. It's preferable in terms of cost to use an in-network dentist. Please check out this sample list of in-network oral surgeons--always confirm a dentist is still in-network when you contact them. You can also search for an oral surgeon in any zip code at https://www.ameritas.com/employee-benefits/find-a-provider/

Be prepared: Always Ask for a Pre-treatment Estimate
It is a good practice to ask for a pre-treatment estimate. Your dentist or specialist will send Ameritas a plan for your care and request an estimate of benefits. The estimate helps you prepare for the cost of dental services. We recommend that you request a pre-treatment estimate for services in excess of $300. You and your dentist will receive a benefit estimate for most procedures while you are still in the office. Actual payments may vary depending upon plan maximums, deductibles, frequency limits and other conditions at time of payment.
